HGV Technician

HGV Technician Workshop Based | HGV Mechanic | Commercial Vehicle Technician HGV Technician required for a modern workshop maintaining and repairing HGVs, commercial vehicles and specialist fleet vehicles. Full training provided, £1,500 joining bonus, manufacturer development and HGV licence training available. Must have the right to work in the UK. Must have the right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence,Category C and Category CE licence would be advantageous.

Southampton Pay / salary: £44,45 basic per annum, OTE £50,000 with overtime and bonus opportunities Job type:
Permanent / full-time role Shift and schedule:
Flexible start and finish times between 7:00am and 6:00pm , no Saturdays (available as OT) Benefits: £1,500 joining bonus

Overtime paid at enhanced rates, with bonus opportunities available 30 Days Annual Leave including Bank Holidays Tool insurance, uniform, overalls and PPE provided Brand training and career development towards senior technician levels Skills and experience Relevant HGV, heavy vehicle or commercial vehicle maintenance qualification, or proven workshop experience in a similar role

Experience with service, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles Ability to work efficiently as part of a busy workshop team Own a well-stocked toolbox suitable for HGV workshop duties HGV, LGV or PCV licence would be advantageous

Job Responsibilities for the HGV Technician role Carrying out routine servicing, inspections and maintenance on heavy commercial vehicles Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and technical faults using modern diagnostic equipment Completing repairs to manufacturer standards across HGV and commercial vehicle systems Supporting breakdown, roadside or rota requirements where applicable and maintaining high levels of customer service If you would like to know more and be considered for the role, or simply want a Job Pack with more details, please apply.
