Salary Overview:
The pay rate for this role starts at $20 per hour based on experience.
Hours:
The hours for this role are Monday through Friday, 6 am to 3:30 pm.
Resale Technician Responsibilities Include:
- Complete the inspection (CAPL worksheet) on each vehicle.
- Visually check for prototype or broken parts on each vehicle.
- Conduct final inspections and get each vehicle ready for road tests.
- Complete vehicle mods and recalls as needed.
- Diagnose vehicle issues as requested.
- Install ordered parts.
- Perform electronic updates or flashing as needed.
- Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service's DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Must have exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Must be a reliable team player.
- Able to identify parts and vehicle components with a detailed understanding of vehicle systems and the ability to diagnose system failures.
- State of ASE certifications for mechanics and vehicle repair.
- Computer diagnosis and vehicle electronics.
- Able to operate shop equipment and tools such as hoists, A/C machines, tire machines, balancers, and computer technologies.
- Proficient in reading and understanding vehicle schematics and own basic power tools, impacts, grinders, cutting tools, sanders, and hand tools.
