Fleet Mechanic
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Fleet Mechanic to support our Master Mechanic in maintaining a large, high-use vehicle fleet. This is a fleet-only position focused on keeping vehicles safe, reliable, and ready for daily operations. This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of hands-on mechanical experience who is looking to continue developing their skills in a stable, team-oriented environment.
Working under the direction of the Master Mechanic, you will:
- Perform routine maintenance and basic diagnostics on fleet vehicles
- Assist with brake, suspension, and general repair work
- Complete common mechanical services:
- Oil changes and fluid services
- Tires and wheels
- Steering and suspension
- Basic electrical and lighting repairs
- Help ensure vehicles are safe, clean, and ready for service
- Identify and report mechanical issues or potential concerns
- Accurately document work completed, parts used, and labor time
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
What we're looking for:
Experience- 2+ years of mechanic experience (fleet, dealership, or general repair)
- Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance practices
- Ability to work independently and stay productive
- Must have your own basic set of tools required for daily work
- Certifications (brakes, suspension, etc.) are a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role Work Style
- Dependable and self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Monday–Friday schedule – no late nights or weekends
