Provide in-depth, high level training for internal and external customers as needed. Oversee the handling of government notices by team members for timely and accurate handling. Review, assist with or assign research projects completed by the department. Create reports and action plans based on department trend analysis and system data. Flex system creation, updates, reporting and analysis. Handle Liquidated Damages on behalf of the company and customers as needed.
Act as subject matter experts to provide guidance, education and answer questions to internal and external customers.
Solicit and maintain all customs compliance documentation with customers.
Must be able to handle confidential or sensitive information and projects.
Work closely with other internal staff, departments, executive level management, customers and government agencies to deliver a high level of service to customers.
Ensure all government and organizational policies are followed.
Participate in customer, departmental and company meetings.
Train team members as needed.
Confirm receipt of government inquiries and ensure matter is resolved timely.
Handles miscellaneous clerical functions for Regulatory department.
Handles complex regulatory functions that include but are not limited to CF28s, CF29s, seizure notices, redelivery notices, FDA registrations, etc.
Review quality referral disputes for accuracy as an impartial mediator.
Monitor and update miscellaneous Regulatory owned reporting.
Brokerage system maintenance resulting from government updates.
Review company procedures for accuracy and ensure compliance.
Create company notices for internal and external customers.
Research discrepancies found as a result of regulatory matters.
Research trends for possible issues identified from QA disputes and suggest internal training needs. Conduct reviews of customs documents.
Provide internal guidance by vetting research and formatting communications and training material. Works directly with the Legal department for approval of internal publications.

Provides support to management and operations during CBP/PGA compliance reviews.
Researches and collaborates in the drafting of company RIGHT documents.

Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience preferably in business field. Four years Brokerage work experience required, Regulatory experience preferred. Brokers License required. QDM Apprentice required. A thorough knowledge of customs regulations, harmonized tariff schedule, and any other federal agency laws, regulations, procedures governing the customs brokerage industry with preferred emphasis in post-entry processes. Demonstrated organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple work assignments in a time-sensitive atmosphere.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Organizational and problem solving skills. Detail orientated. Ability to handle high volume and time sensitive of work. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current. Starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors.

Pay: Pay Range: $4,964.26 - $9,419.27
