Position SummaryThe Birthday Party Host is responsible for creating a fun and enjoyable Birthday Party and providing an excellent customer experience at the venue.
Primary Responsibilities- Greet and welcome all participants, parents, and/or community members
- Ensure participants/visitors are present for a specific permitted event
- Direct or assist to decorate space for hosting the birthday party
- Organize and facilitate games and/or activities
- Ensure packages and items purchased are received
- Operate arcade, e-sports and other venue specific devices
- Oversee the use of entertainment equipment
- Assist with event set-up and breakdown as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Provide courteous and friendly first-in-class service to all guests
- Be knowledgeable about the facility (practices, events, meeting dates/times)
- Know and enforce the venue policies and procedures
- Complete special projects, daily assignments, and other duties as assigned
- All additional duties assigned by management
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours)
- Must be a team player
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain focus in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Must have excellent guest service skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
- Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders, and fellow team members
- Commitment to the safety and well-being of others
- Proficient in the use of computers and associated hardware
- Be self-motivated but still be able to follow directions from others
- Be well organized and able to multi-task
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Customer service and cash handling experience preferred
- Working environment is fast paced
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and squat, stoop, or bend
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Will be required to operate a computer, POS system and kiosk
- The facility has intermittent noise
Salary: $14 - $16 per hour
