Occupational Therapist (OT)

TSP Ed Co is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and support students in a school setting in Romulus, MI.
This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys working directly with students, building meaningful relationships, and helping children develop the fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills they need to be successful at school.
What You'll Do- Providing occupational therapy services to students individually and/or in small groups
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment goals and interventions
- Supporting students with fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and visual-motor skills
- Helping students develop functional, self-care, and classroom participation skills
- Monitoring and documenting student progress toward individualized goals
- Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related service providers
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student programming and goals
- Recommending strategies, accommodations, and adaptive equipment to support student success
- Maintaining student confidentiality and following all school and TSP Ed Co policies
- Active Occupational Therapist license/credential appropriate for practice in Michigan
- Master's or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Experience working with children or adolescents preferred
- School-based and/or special education experience is a plus
- Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy, sensory processing, and developmental needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to helping students succeed
- Ability to meet all applicable school, licensing, and employment requirements
