• Contract position scheduled for 32 hours per week
• Assignment duration:
  August 26, 2026 - June 11, 2027
• Serve a diverse caseload of students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Collaborate closely with a highly responsive director; interview and potential offer may occur the same day

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Michigan
• Previous experience delivering school-based OT services, including IEP participation and thorough documentation practices
• Strong ability to assess student needs and develop customized interventions to advance access to curriculum and participation
• Excellent communication skills for effective consultation with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Experience working with a broad range of student abilities and age groups is a plus

• Evaluate and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to support student growth and academic participation
• Deliver targeted OT interventions, both individually and in small groups
• Monitor progress, adjusting interventions as necessary for optimal outcomes
  
  Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Provide recommendations to staff and families for strategies fostering student independence and skill development
