Technology Services is seeking qualified candidates to utilize their knowledge, skills, and abilities to serve as an onsite GIS Analyst. In this role, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid understanding of GIS theory and applications; possess clear understanding of ArcGIS Enterprise architecture, applications, and functionality; identify, understand, and articulate solutions for business objectives through knowledge in ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Experience Builder, Survey
123, and other related ArcGIS technologies.
- Perform analytical and geoprocessing functions to create, maintain, and retrieve data.
- Design and implement GIS solutions using ArcGIS software to enhance existing and future GIS projects.
- Develop data collection and visualization tools using ArcGIS Survey
123 and ArcGIS Experience Builder. - Meet with the business to evaluate project or request requirements and provide guidance and solutions accordingly.
- Develop geographic databases, including designs and models. Comprehensive working knowledge of database concepts (including SQL DB and versioning).
- Assist with maintenance of the GIS environment — GIS Enterprise Portal (ArcGIS Server/Portal), ArcGIS Online, and SQL relational database.
- B.S. in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- Five years as a GIS Analyst working with the ESRI product suite.
- Three years working with Geodatabase management procedures and relational databases.
- Three years working with Autodesk’s AutoCAD, BIM, and the conversion into GIS.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail, customer focus, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and transition from one task to another to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Certificate and/or Licenses:
Geographic Information Science Certificate or equivalent. - General knowledge of Asset Management System (Maximo).
- Experience with interior building mapping.
- Experience with 3D GIS software (Arc Scene).
