Supply Chain Operations Associate – Romulus, MI

- Pay Type: Salaried Non-Exempt / Paid Weekly
- Target Salary: $50,000/yr, plus eligible for overtime
- Schedule: Sunday‑Friday, 10:00pm‑6:00am
- Inventory control experience: preferred

Position does not manage warehouse or driver team members and is responsible for General Motors LLP Accounts.
Essential Functions- Follow up on all purchased parts to ensure timely shipment and delivery performance to support production requirements.
- Serve as main point of contact for all suppliers; provide direction regarding ship schedule requirements and containment plans when behind schedule.
- Track critical parts and develop/executive containment plans to ensure no interruptions or downtime on the manufacturing line.
- Coordinate alternative sources of material and request spot buys when necessary.
- Independent monitoring, set‑up, and cancellation of truck loads for material pick‑up to support schedule variations and ensure proper material coverage at lowest possible cost.
- Review part buffers to ensure they cover build requirements; document and manage S and AV code exceptions and maintain alarm intervals.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels in MGO, making adjustments as necessary; investigate and process record adjustment requests from the previous shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Flexible work schedule.
- H.S. Diploma/GED required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 1 year or more in administrative experience preferred.
- 1 year or more in relevant experience preferred.
- Knowledge of MGO (GM’s MRP system) intermediate preferred.
- Knowledge of transportation management intermediate preferred.
- Knowledge of material flow as it relates to manufacturing processes intermediate preferred.
- No travel required.
Materials Planning & Scheduling
Compensation InformationTarget Pay: $50,000 per year. Eligible for overtime and an annual bonus, commission, and long‑term incentive plan based on level and type. Salary ranges: $50,000 minimum to $50,000 maximum.
