Overview

Working to strict safety and quality requirements, help to achieve daily production requirements in terms of quality and quantity to meet customer expectations and requirements, optimizing efficiency and maintaining operational excellence. Perform many operations within the process with some supervision.

General Responsibilities
  • Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
  • Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurement readings.
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
  • Maintain equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Miscellaneous Duties
  • Monitor the production process and conduct basic testing and quality checks.
  • Adjust machine controls while monitoring production process and outputs.
  • Perform cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and machinery.
  • Report equipment faults to maintenance staff.
  • Build components and sub‑assemblies into finished electrical or mechanical products.
  • Stack goods appropriately.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demand

The employee frequently must reach with hands and arms, stand, use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, and regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and often up to 25 pounds. The employee must have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

Employees may be exposed to risk of electrical shock and moving mechanical parts. Noise level is usually quiet.

Shift Hours

Monday - Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
