What You’ll Do:
  • Guide team leaders and production workforce with respect to performance management, employee relations, awareness of business context/profitability, as well as training/development of staff members.
  • Ensure delivery of the production goals and objectives by establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff members to apply.
  • Support the Production Manager to ensure the operation remains within budget for labor and throughput; monitor and measure performance to minimise downtime, reduce costs, and improve quality and efficiencies.
  • Complete required documentation, records, and checklist; submit to appropriate management personnel.
  • Communicate and address variances, quality issues, and concerns with relevant departments to help identify the causes and implement sustainable corrective action.
  • Monitor the working environment to ensure compliance with company and statutory hygiene and safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information, as well as other company data, including personnel information.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and EOS reports.
  • Touch base with new employees every week.
  • Collaborate with commodity, inventory, receiving, shipping, and quality departments to ensure an efficient operation workflow, production requirements, and reworked product consistently match product specifications.
  • Other core expectations as defined by the company.
Job Requirements

What You’ll Bring :
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a production environment.
  • Minimum 4 years of Supervisory experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Microsoft (MS) Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
What Sets You Apart:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management or Engineering.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Health and Safety, Food Safety, HACCP principles.
  • Understanding of legislative requirements to maintain compliance with all relevant statutes and guiding principles.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent analytical, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to high professional and ethical standards.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • Available to work any shifts needed by the company.
  • Must be flexible to shift assignments as needed to meet both customer & business needs.
