Founded in 2016, Tube Supply provides quality steel tube and bar in alloy, stainless, and carbon for oil and gas applications, including drilling, completions, production, and downhole tools. Responsibilities- Locate steel wire and rod coils for shipment based on production schedules and shipping requirements.
- Package steel coils using steel strapping or nylon strapping in accordance with customer specifications and internal procedures
- Secure coils to prevent damage during handling, storage, and transportation
- Stage finished product in designated areas for shipment
- Pull orders from inventory and deliver materials and supplies to production areas as needed
- Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies
- Identify, label, and record inventory locations accurately
- Report inventory shortages, discrepancies, or damaged material to management Safely operate forklifts (Hi-Lo) to move materials, coils, and supplies
- Contribute to the orderly operation of stock and material storage areas
- Adhere to all workplace safety rules, PPE requirements, and safe-work practices
- Experienced Material Handler using forklift and/or overhead crane
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to safely operate an industrial forklift
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in steel manufacturing or material handling
- Previous experience packaging steel wire or rod coils a plus
