Overview
Bartender Role
Description:
OPEN INTERVIEWS THIS WEEK THURSDAY - SATURDAY 10AM - 4PM
At our bar, bartenders work as a team, not as isolated stations. Each shift typically has 2–3 bartenders splitting all responsibilities together, which keeps things fast, fair, and efficient.
This is a dive-bar style environment: high energy, high volume at times, and very hands-on. Everyone jumps in where needed.
Responsibilities- Making drinks quickly, accurately, and consistently
- Taking orders and providing friendly, attentive customer service
- Running drinks, clearing glassware, and maintaining a clean bar area
- Handling cash, POS transactions, and tabs accurately
- Stocking beer, liquor, mixers, ice, and garnishes
- Cleaning bar tops, sinks, mats, coolers, and back-bar areas
- Taking out trash and recycling as needed
- Opening and closing duties depending on shift
There are no fixed stations — bartenders rotate tasks and support each other throughout the shift.
Team-Based Expectations- Bartenders split workload evenly: drinks, cleanup, stocking, and guest interaction
- If something needs to be done, whoever is free handles it
- Strong communication and teamwork are essential
- This role rewards people who hustle, notice what needs doing, and help without being asked
- Prior bar or restaurant experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes loud environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Friendly personality with the ability to handle busy crowds
- Able to stay organized and calm under pressure
This is not a craft cocktail bar and not a “stand behind your well and wait” job. It’s a classic dive-bar setup where teamwork, speed, and attitude matter more than flair.
If you like working with a small crew, staying busy, and taking pride in keeping the bar running smoothly, you’ll fit right in.
