Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification required
- Experience in school-based psychological services preferred
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Ability to deliver direct counseling and support to students
- Effective communication with interdisciplinary teams and families
- Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho educational assessments and evaluations
- Interpret test results and provide recommendations for interventions and accommodations
- Deliver individual and group counseling to students across grade levels
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and special education teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain accurate, confidential student records and documentation
- Support crisis intervention efforts and provide recommendations as needed
- Engage in district-wide initiatives promoting emotional wellness and academic achievement
Preferred candidates are available for full-time hours, but flexible part-time schedules may be considered. You will work district-wide, interacting with students of varied ages and backgrounds, ensuring your work has a widespread, lasting impact.
