Job Overview

You will drive medical supplies to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor with customers. The position offers schedule flexibility and is home daily.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required. Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in the state of residence.
• Must hold, or be able to obtain, a non‑excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of experience in the last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• English language proficiency required to comply with federal law.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specified location, complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening.
• The position requires constant alertness and safe operation; the driver must accept responsibility for their own safety and that of others.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to see and hear, with close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Must move frequently, stand, walk, sit, and use hands to touch, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms.
• Must regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
• Must legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and cargo area.
