CDL Driver
Transdev Drivers provide transportation via an Airline Employee Shuttle within our local communities. Our drivers offer a vital service to Delta Airlines and other Detroit Metro Airport employees, ensuring safe and reliable transportation from remote parking to the airport terminal. The shuttle service operates 24/7/365, and shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities- Execute flawless operations by meticulously following designated routes and schedules while adhering to stringent safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Provide exceptional passenger care, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
- Conduct comprehensive pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance issues and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and compliance with regulatory mandates.
- Perform other duties as required.
- 21 years or older.
- Valid CDL B‑AB and P endorsements.
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Availability to work day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts as assigned.
- Subject to a DOT drug screening and physical exam if applicable.
- Must be able to work flexible schedules, including shifts as needed.
- Work may involve long periods of sitting, typing, or computer use.
- Work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings.
- Competitive compensation: $18.00–$22.00 per hour.
- Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks.
- Sick days: 5 days.
- Holidays: 12 days (8 standard and 4 floating).
- Standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, voluntary long‑term disability.
