Shipper​/Receiver - Afternoon Shift

Job Purpose and Overview

As a Shipper/Receiver you will participate in the distribution warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, selecting, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of products to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and product transportation.

• Sunday - Thursday: 3:30 pm - 11:30 pm (or until finished)
• Overtime and Weekends required based on business needs.

• Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, electric rider jacks, electric pallet jacks, trailer lift gates and pallet wrap machines.
• Minimum 6 months of related experience or 1 full year non‑related employment experience.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Must tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, wheat, and soy.
• Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to withstand cool and/or cold temperatures.
• Available to work overtime as required.

• Correctly select, palletize, and shrink wrap customers' orders preparing them for delivery.
• Receive and stock inbound product in its designated locations. Rotate and replenish current stock in its designated locations.
• Safely load trailers in an even and productive fashion.
• Operate handheld computer and scanning devices for SAP used for all aspects of warehouse operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of entire warehouse and practice safe food handling procedures.
• Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to grasp, move, or utilize objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds and frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.
