Hilo Driver

Cardinal Staffing is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Hilo Driver to support night-shift warehouse operations. This role is responsible for safely operating a sit-down electric forklift, loading and unloading trucks, moving and staging materials, and assisting with shipping, receiving, and inventory activities. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Schedule Shift: Night shift

Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down electric hilo/forklift to move products and materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks accurately and efficiently.
• Transport, stack, stage, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
• Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Verify shipments for accuracy and assist with inventory control and product location as needed.
• Follow established shipping, receiving, warehouse, and material-handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Comply with all company safety policies and applicable OSHA requirements.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• At least one year of experience operating a sit-down electric forklift or hilo.
• Previous experience loading and unloading trucks.
• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment in a warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current forklift certification, or the ability to become certified upon hire.
• Previous shipping and receiving experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
