LEAD SUPERVISOR - Sequencing and Dock Operations

Position Type: Direct Hire

Position Shift: C Crew

The base schedule for C crew is:

  • Friday – Dayshift: 6:00AM-4:30PM
  • Saturday – Dayshift: 6:00AM-4:30PM
  • Sunday – Night shift: 6:00PM-4:30AM
  • Monday – Night shift: 6:00PM-4:30AM

Salary: $28.00-$35.00/hour (Depending on Experience)

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Supervisor for C Crew to lead our Sequencing and Shipping/Receiving team with energy and precision. In this role, you will oversee daily sequencing activities, dock operations, ensure safety standards are upheld, and drive continuous process improvements. Your leadership will inspire the team to meet production goals efficiently while maintaining high quality and safety protocols.

You will implement productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. The goal is to ensure that daily Sequencing and dock operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the C Crew on the floor, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to process.
  • Oversee Sequencing operation and the timely flow of material to our customer.
  • Manage forklift drivers and dock operations, ensuring on time shipping and unloading.
  • Monitor warehouse organization, material FIFO process and maximize warehouse efficiency.
  • Implement process improvements by analyzing workflow, identifying inefficiencies, and applying lean manufacturing principles.
  • Train team members on sequencing process, proper use of lift assist equipment, and safety procedures to foster a skilled and compliant workforce.
  • Lead safety initiatives by enforcing safety standards, conducting safety briefings, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven supervisory experience in factory or automotive manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of sequencing processes and dock operations.
  • Hands-on experience with forklift operation and certification preferred
  • Familiarity with Ford CMMS (DDL/eDDL) is a plus.
  • Prior experience with part sequencing is required; broadcast sequencing is a plus
  • Ability to manage teams effectively while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and process adherence.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
