We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Development Executive to drive growth in our IT staffing and consulting services. This role requires a proactive, relationship-driven professional with existing executive-level connections who can leverage their network to identify, secure, and manage strategic client opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities in IT staffing and consulting.
- Develop and implement tailored sales strategies for IT solutions and staffing services.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, presentations, and solutions.
- Attend industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to promote the company.
- Stay informed of industry trends, market activities, and competitor analysis.
- Prepare and present progress and forecast reports to management.
- Mentor team members and support the development of junior staff.

- Revenue growth:
Achieve or exceed targets for assigned accounts. - Client retention:
Maintain high client satisfaction and long-term relationships. - Account penetration:
Drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities. - Strategic engagement:
Expand influence and visibility within target accounts.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Experience:
- 7+ years in account management, business development, or client relations in IT staffing or consulting.
- Proven success managing and growing client accounts, ideally with corporate or financial services clients.
- Exposure to other African markets is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of IT staffing and consulting services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, Hub Spot) and MS Office.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts/projects and work independently.
- Drive new business development and client onboarding, including signing MSAs/PSLs.
- Develop account growth plans and maximize revenue from each client.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet business objectives.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients.
- Research target accounts, identify opportunities, and pursue leads.
- Provide feedback to shape future products, services, and strategic direction.
