Mission:
The Senior Manager – Transformation leads Bayobab’s transformation programmes under the Digital Infrastructure pillar, operating as the primary driver of Bayobab-wide transformation programs.
The SM Transformation is a key function to enable transformation of Bayobab in the areas of workflows, journeys, OLAs and tracking initially, with key focus on company-wide transformations in the long run. This includes assessments of the existing workflows, design of new workflows, implementation of enhancements and enablement of ongoing tracking and escalations.
This is a business function working closely with the business users, support functions, and CIO organisation for technical delivery.
Key Performance Areas:
Transformation Programme Management and Accountability:
Accountable for company-wide transformation programme management
Assess business transformation needs with executive stakeholdersDesign implementation programmesAlign wide variety of stakeholders and drive completion through indirect managementProactively communicate with executive stakeholders to ensure transformation velocity is upheldBalance between quick wins to create immediate value and long term strategic transformationsOwn the transformation pipeline, journey and implementation programmeBusiness Transformation:
Drive business transformation; improvements in the Efficiency & Effectiveness of the businessDrive Business Efficiency through BPE, Business Process Engineering:
Define, Measure, Analyze, then Improve and Control or Design and Verify Business processes.Documentation of existing processes, process improvement designEnable the organization to deliver against its strategic objectives through the identification of performance gaps and closing them through BPEOwn the Business Change Management process for the companyBusiness Readiness & Digital Enablement
Readiness – ensure the organization is ready for the new process, metric or program implementation. Build training materials with the support of marketingRun readiness sessionDigital Enablement. Translate business requirements into requirements and specs for tools and systems. Working closely with the CIO team, ensure the changes are implemented.
Supervisory / Leadership / Managerial Complexity:

Job Requirements:
Education:
Minimum 4-year Academic Degree (Business Management or other relevant field)
Postgraduate qualification MBA/Masters (Economics, Business Management, Data Science) preferredExperience:
Minimum 10 years in relevant corporate &/or professional operational roles (strategy, consulting, transformation, PMO)Minimum 5 years management tracked record in telecommunications, digital or related industriesA proven portfolio of past projects (cross-functional transformation, process improvement, , reporting and dashboards, and operational frameworks) is a mustProven-track records in strategic (re-) engineering, programme/project management
