Assistant Project Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to join our construction management team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and Project scheduling tools.

Coordinate communication between project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to facilitate smooth project workflows.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to support project planning and execution.

Support construction estimating processes utilizing Heavy Bid and other estimating software to prepare accurate cost projections.

Track project progress, update schedules, and prepare reports to monitor milestones and deadlines.

Assist in managing contracts, change orders, and documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Support project management activities including resource allocation, risk management, and quality control measures.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols on construction sites and assist in maintaining a safe working environment.

Proven experience with construction management software such as Bluebeam, Excel, Heavy Bid, or similar tools.

Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project scheduling, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation.

Prior experience working on construction sites or in a construction management role is preferred.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

Strong communication skills for coordinating between teams and stakeholders.

Ability to read technical drawings and understand contracts related to construction projects.

Knowledge of construction site safety protocols is a plus.
