PSYCHOLOGY/SOCIAL SCIENCE INSTRUCTOR (POOL) — Faculty Part-Time. This is a pooled position and applications will be reviewed on an as-needed, on-going basis.

As the Part-Time Psychology/Social Science Instructor, you will be primarily responsible for teaching psychology classes for college transfer courses. In-person, evening, or offsite classes may be part of the assignment. The faculty at Umpqua Community College are committed to facilitating learning using the most up-to-date pedagogy, technology, and discipline-specific knowledge. All faculty are responsible for teaching in all modalities and keeping current with new modalities that develop in higher education.

Required Qualifications:
- Passion for student success
- Innovative thinker and problem solver
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology
- Experience teaching in the classroom
- Experience teaching online
- Demonstrated ability to interact and effectively communicate with people
Preferred (Not Required)
Qualifications:
- Community College classroom teaching experience
- Dual credit teaching experience at the high school level
- Skill in curriculum development and course revision
