The position of Assistant Track Coach is Open Until Filled to create a qualified instructor pool.

As the Part-Time Assistant Track Coach
, you will provide a successful, high quality, and competitive experience for the student-athletes, as it relates to the goals of the department and college. Assistant coaching responsibilities will include pre-season, in-season, post-season and out-of-season responsibilities. Coaching hours vary and may include days, evenings, weekends, travel and other hours as required by the coaching schedule.

Required Qualifications
- One (1) year of competition experience in cross country and/or track and field at the collegiate level OR Two (2) years of experience at the high school level or equivalent.
- Previous coaching experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certification within one (1) month of hire.
- Ability to possess a valid Oregon driver's license and a clean driving record.
- A current and valid driver’s license and the ability to pass the online driving test for Oregon Motor Pool and Lane Motor Pool within one (1) month of hire.
- Knowledge/experience in competing or coaching Shot Put, Discus Throw, and Hammer Throw OR Long Jump, High Jump, and Triple Jump.
- 2 years of higher education
