ADULT BASIC SKILLS INSTRUCTOR (POOL)
The Adult Basic Skills Instructor will help students improve their reading, math, science, and social studies skills through one‑on‑one support and small group teaching. The goal is to prepare students for the GED test, enrollment in higher education, or career advancement. This position may be located at the college main campus, south county campus, Woolley Center, or Wolf Creek Job Corps.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field to one of the GED topics:
Language Arts, Science, Math, or Social Studies. - Experience in an instructional setting such as teaching or tutoring.
- Preferred:
Master’s degree in Education or related field. - Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Previous Adult Basic Skills experience.
