STEM INSTRUCTOR (POOL)
Faculty Part-Time
The position of Part-Time STEM Instructor is a pooled position and applications will be reviewed on a need‑to‑fill basis. The STEM department is recruiting qualified instructors in the following areas:
General Biology, Chemistry, and Nutrition.
All faculty are responsible for teaching in all modalities and staying current with emerging instructional methods. Facilitating learning and serving student needs through engagement in college‑displayed obligations will also support student success.
Qualifications- Commensurate with State of Oregon requirements of respective academic and/or technical field:
- For CTE faculty this is an associate degree and at least 3 years of experience or the equivalent (bachelor’s preferred)
- For General Education faculty, this is a Master’s in the discipline or the equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years community college teaching experience
- A minimum of five years of verifiable experience related to the field.
- Online instruction experience preferred, classroom teaching experience desirable
