Psychology/Social Science Instructor (Pool)

Faculty Part‑Time position reviewed on an ongoing as needed basis. The faculty member will primarily be responsible for teaching undergraduate psychology classes for transfer to a four‑year institution. Teaching may occur in‑person, evening, or off‑site modalities. All faculty are required to remain current in new instructional modalities and to incorporate contemporary pedagogy and technology in the classroom.

Deliver course content and assessments, design and maintain syllabi, facilitate student learning and collaboration, provide timely feedback, and assess student performance. Participate in continuous professional development to enhance teaching effectiveness across all modalities.

• Master’s degree or higher in Psychology
• Experience teaching in the classroom and online
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact effectively with a diverse student body
• Passion for student success and innovative thinking
• Preferred:
  Community college teaching experience, dual‑credit teaching, curriculum development and course revision experience
