ASSISTANT TRACK COACH
Faculty Part-Time
The position of Assistant Track Coach is Open Until Filled

As a part‑time Assistant Track Coach, you will provide a successful, high‑quality, and competitive experience for student‑athletes, supporting the department and college goals. Coaching responsibilities include pre‑season, in‑season, post‑season, and out‑of‑season duties. Coaching hours may vary and may include days, evenings, weekends, travel, and other required hours.
QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications:
- One (1) year of competition experience in cross country and/or track and field at the collegiate level OR Two (2) years of experience at the high school level or equivalent.
- Previous coaching experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certification within one (1) month of hire.
- Ability to possess a valid Oregon driver's license and a clean driving record.
- A current and valid driver’s license and the ability to pass the online driving test for Oregon Motor Pool and Lane Motor Pool within one (1) month of hire.
- Knowledge/experience in competing or coaching Shot Put, Discus Throw, and Hammer Throw OR Long Jump, High Jump, and Triple Jump.
Preferred (Not Required)
Qualifications:
- 2 years of higher education.
