NON-CREDIT INSTRUCTOR FOR COMMUNITY AND WORKFORCE TRAINING (POOL)

Faculty Part‑Time

The position of Non‑Credit Instructor for Community and Workforce Training is a pooled position; applications will be reviewed on an as‑needed, on‑going basis.

As a part‑time non‑credit instructor, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and instructing non‑credit classes or workshops offered by the UCC Community and Workforce Training Department, delivered throughout UCC’s Service District.

Community & Workforce Training instructors teach part‑time, non‑credit courses in one or more of the following areas:

• Arts & Crafts
• Professional Development & Continuing Education
• Computers and Electronics
• Fitness & Health
• Home & Garden
• Language & Writing
• Recreation & Dance
• Youth Camps & Family

The ideal instructor combines an interest in serving the community with a desire to supplement their existing income.

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Knowledge and experience with subject matter being taught, required.
• Prior teaching experience, preferred.
• Ability to work independently and be self‑directed, required.
• Ability to work well with students, staff, and faculty, required.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule that may include evening and weekend hours, required.
• Ability to complete all electronic or paper forms with care and detail, required.
• Must have valid Oregon driver’s license; own transportation required.
• Access to an internet connection and an active email account for web‑based functions, required.
