AUTOMOTIVE INSTRUCTOR (POOL)
Faculty Part‑Time
The Automotive Instructor is a pooled position. Applications will be reviewed on an as‑needed, ongoing basis. As a Part‑Time Automotive Instructor you will facilitate learning using the most up‑to‑date pedagogy, technology, and discipline‑specific knowledge. All faculty are responsible for teaching in all modalities and keeping current in new modalities that develop in higher education. In addition to teaching, faculty support the college through student support activities.

- Commensurate with State of Oregon requirements for the academic or technical field:
- Associate degree or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience
- Current ASE certification in areas of instruction
- Ability to become certified in certification areas infused into the program (nc3, Snap‑on, Toyota, Chrysler, and Subaru)
- Minimum of 5 years community college teaching experience
- Minimum of 5 years verifiable experience related to the field
- Online instruction experience preferred; classroom teaching experience desirable
- Bachelor’s degree preferred for CTE faculty
