Faculty Part-Time
The position of Sociology/Social Science Instructor is a pooled position and applications will be reviewed on an as‑needed, ongoing basis.
As the Part‑Time Sociology/Social Science Instructor, you will be primarily responsible for teaching sociology classes for college transfer courses. In‑person, evening, or off‑site classes may be part of the assignment. Faculty are responsible for teaching in all modalities and staying current in new modalities that develop in higher education.

- Master’s degree or higher in Sociology
- Experience teaching in the classroom
- Experience teaching online
- Demonstrated ability to interact and effectively communicate with people
- Community College classroom teaching experience
- Dual credit teaching experience at the high school level
- Skill in curriculum development and course revision
