ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY INSTRUCTOR
Faculty Part‑Time – Two vacancies open until filled. This position is part of the Umpqua Community College faculty team and offers the opportunity to work with community college students in a supportive, innovative environment.
As a Part‑Time Anatomy and Physiology Instructor you will facilitate learning using up‑to‑date pedagogy, technology, and discipline‑specific knowledge. All faculty are responsible for teaching in all modalities and staying current with new modalities that develop in higher education. In addition to teaching, faculty support the college and student community through service activities.
Responsibilities- Facilitate learning using current pedagogy, technology, and discipline specific knowledge.
- Teach in all modalities and remain current with emerging modalities.
- Engage in service to the college and student support activities.
- Master’s degree in the discipline or equivalent, commensurate with State of Oregon requirements.
- Minimum of 3 years community college teaching experience.
- Minimum of 5 years verifiable experience related to the field.
- Online instruction experience preferred; classroom teaching experience desirable.

- Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty (DD Form 214 or 215)
