The position of Business Instructor is a Pooled Position and applications will be reviewed on an as‑needed, ongoing basis.

As the Part‑Time Business Instructor, you will be primarily responsible for teaching various business courses, primarily online. Some courses may be in the traditional classroom setting.

Umpqua Community College is located in beautiful Southern Oregon between the mountains of the Cascade Range to the east and the Coastal Range to the west. - Education qualifications may be met in one of the following ways: (1) Master’s degree in Business; or (2) other master’s degree with at least 9 quarter credits at the undergraduate level in Business plus at least 12 quarter credits at the graduate level in Business; or (3) Other master’s degree with at least 18 quarter credits in graduate‑level Business classes. All of the above must be from a regionally accredited college or university.
- At least 3 years of recent, directly related work experience.
- Familiarity with computer technology, MS Office products, and ability to easily learn the college's currently used learning management system, Canvas.
- Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively with others; ability to work in teams.
- 3-5 years of experience teaching business classes at a community college.
