About The Role
In this role, you will manage centralized flood compliance reviews to ensure adherence to federal flood insurance regulations and internal risk management policies. You will evaluate properties used as loan collateral to determine applicable flood zone requirements and establish appropriate flood insurance obligations when required. You will also perform cross‑collateral loan reviews to ensure flood requirements are consistently applied across related loan relationships.
Your work will help the bank maintain regulatory compliance while protecting both the institution and its borrowers from potential flood‑related risk exposures.
- Perform loan servicing activities such as general loan maintenance, processing loan payments, data entry, loan document creation, lien perfection, escrow/tax support, flood review, or general ledger reconciliation.
- Responsible for the transaction and processing of moderately complex consumer, small business, SBA and commercial/business loan products, required documentation, in accordance with the organization’s workflow, ensuring regulation, policy, and procedures practices are followed.
- Provide outstanding service and timely response to requests from internal and external customers.
- Capture metrics to assist leadership in coordinating and adjusting daily workflow.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and actively assist in the identification and implementation of workflow improvements.
- Perform work accurately and within assigned deadlines. Provide timely communication of work status so any incomplete work can be redistributed across the team.
- Serve as a Loan Servicing subject matter expert (SME) both internally and externally, lead or assist others in understanding the organization’s processes, procedures and policies.
- Mentor or train others as well as be cross‑trained to assist others throughout Loan Support Services.
- Actively participate on collaboration project teams within division and across departments as needed.
- Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and apply to designated job responsibilities, keeping up to date on regulation changes.
- Follow all bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and complete all required annual or job‑specific training.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the bank’s written policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, bank security and other applicable regulations.
- Coach, mentor or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

- Diploma or GED (preferred)
- Business, accounting, finance or related field (preferred)
- 2–4 years of advanced consumer, SBA or commercial/business loan servicing or equivalent experience (required)
- Possess working knowledge of consumer, SBA and commercial/business loan experience, advanced banking, lending products, services and lending documentation including loan regulations, policies and procedures.
- Ability to multi‑task and respond to frequent changes in daily workflow.
- Strong math, analytical, multi‑tasking and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency using computer software including Word, Excel, loan servicing systems and other office equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume service‑oriented environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Occasional
PayThe pay range for this role is $18.00 – $28.00. Compensation may be eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, and details will be provided during the recruitment process.
