Opportunity Awaits, Apply Today!As a NRS1-Crew Leader (Natural Resource Specialist
1) for the Inland Fish Science Program in Roseburg, Oregon, you will provide field oversight, coordination and logistical support for up to 10 Biological Science Assistant positions. Duties also include:
- Training and working with field crews
- Responsible for quality control of collected data
- Evaluating and setting up new sample sites
- Writing sample site characteristics
- Requesting permission from private landowners to conduct surveys on their property
- Communicating regularly with ODFW staff

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORMinimum Qualifications
Option 1: Three years of biological experience performing studies, research, or resource management activities in a fish or wildlife program.
-OR-
Option 2: A Bachelor's degree in Fisheries or Wildlife Science or a closely-related Bachelor's degree with at least 45 quarter (30 semester) hours of biological/ecological coursework.

- Summary and analysis experience
- Experience locating working with landowners
- Experience writing reports
