Job Description

Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following:

Primary service representative to implement ESA Section 7 consultation for land management and restoration projects that may affect listed species in Oregon.

Responsible for providing technical assistance to Federal and State agencies and private landowners, writing biological opinions and other technical documents, providing conservation recommendations for timber and energy projects, and coordinating with other Service offices.

Provide technical assistance in the area of fish and wildlife resources to Federal and State agencies and Tribes that ensures they are in compliance with Federal and/or State environmental regulation (i.e., Endangered Species Act, National Environment Policy Act, Migratory Bird Treaty Act, Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Acts, Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act, and Federal Land Policy and Management Act, and others).
