Location: Roseburg, OR

End Date: 06-14-2027

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plan goals that drive measurable student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy into the classroom
  • Document student progress, prepare reports, and maintain timely, compliant records
  • Advocate for students' communication needs and provide guidance on classroom strategies
  • Provide consultative support to classroom teams to promote inclusion and accessibility
Qualifications
  • Licensed SLP with an active Oregon (OR) license required
  • Experience or comfort working in K-12 school settings (school-based therapy experience preferred)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and administrators
  • Ability to follow district schedules, policies, and documentation requirements
  • Willingness to start for the  school year (start date listed as August 24, 2026)
Knowledge & Skills
  • Speech-Language Pathology practice in school settings
  • K-12 student assessment and progress monitoring
  • Experience integrating therapy into classroom routines
  • Caseload management and documentation aligned with school policies
  • Collaborative problem solving with educational teams
