Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive assessment, therapy, and consultation services in the area of communication disorders for schools of Douglas County. 190 days per year, 5 days per week, to begin in the 2025-26 school year.
- Analyzes the effectiveness, appropriateness, and usefulness of strategies and practices used with students, parents, and staff.
- Participates as a member of a team (IEP/IFSP, Placement, etc.) and assumes appropriate roles; leads, follows, and supports others in a productive manner.
- Assesses students' levels of functioning and their therapy needs.
- Participates in development of IEP/IFSP for each eligible student.
- Designs, implements, and supervises delivery of instructional programs to meet IEP/IFSP goals.
Requires a valid SLP license from the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology prior to the first day of employment, OR a Teachers Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) license that has an endorsement for either communication disorders or speech impairment.
Salary$55,238 - $85,848 per year ($290.73 - $451.83 per day or $36.34 - $56.48 per hour), dependent upon relevant verifiable experience.
