What you’ll do:

The Brass Tacks

• Manages all aspects of the reservations, housekeeping, outsides services, and recreation department.
• Responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training and scheduling applicable departments.
• Ensures adequate coverage during all operation al hours.
• Operates the PBX equipment by answering incoming calls, assisting outgoing calls, scheduling and setting wake-up calls and paging guests in accordance with established standards.
• Responds to inquiries and assists guests in making reservations for all facets of the operation , including, but not limited to lodging, dining, recreation, etc.
• Assists the Sales and Marketing Team by entering group bookings and VIP reservations.
• Receives sorts and distributes guest mail, messages and faxes.
• Maintains confidentiality of all guest information and pertinent hotel data.
• Keeps accurate and complete records of reservations, messages and other required information.
• Assists fellow team members when possible and appropriate.
• Brings the departments shift to a sense of finality
• Adjusts rate specials and discrepancies
