As a Boiler Operator Assistant, you'll work directly with the Lead Operator to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable boiler functioning.

What You'll Do As a CoGen Boiler Operator Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the Lead CoGen Boiler Operator with daily operational tasks and routine maintenance activities to support smooth plant functions.
• Safely lifting up to 50 lbs consistently and following all safety protocols to ensure personal and team safety.
• Learning and supporting processes related to waste management, gas systems, and boiler operations—training will be provided; prior experience is a plus but not required.
• Monitoring boiler systems and assisting in their operation under supervision to ensure safe and efficient performance.
• Communicating effectively with team members and adhering to all safety standards at all times.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine willingness to learn new skills.
• Experience with waste and gas systems or boiler operations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Reliability, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour rotating shifts and availability for overtime as needed.

Location & Schedule This position is on-site in Roseburg, OR, offering rotating 12-hour shifts: one month days (7a-7p), one month nights (7p-7a), with shift rotation over a 3-4 day workweek. Availability for overtime is required.
