Retail Supervisor - Southern Oregon Goodwill®
As a Retail Supervisor you’ll oversee daily store operations, drive sales, and lead a team committed to excellence. You’ll play a key role in supporting the mission to enable employment by providing opportunities for personal and professional growth while committing to sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and operate register operations efficiently.
- Supervise and assist associates and program participants.
- Maintain store presentation standards, e.g., organization, standardized classification, stock rotations, proper inventory levels, signage, and housekeeping.
- Maintain quality control standards, address and resolve problems, and ensure continuous improvement in processes, procedures, and schedules.
- Supervise and perform inventories, tallies and other tracking as required for the retail environment.
- Assist Good Works staff with the implementation of work plans and guidelines as established for client programs, as assigned by the Store Manager.

- Speak and understand the English language sufficient to read materials, communicate with customers and coworkers.
- Able to maintain the physical requirements of the working environment.
- Perform simple mathematical calculations.
- High school diploma and two years recent retail supervisory or management experience. Exceptions may be made for upward career moves from within the organization.
- Basic proficiency in Word, Outlook Mail and Calendaring.
- Previous money and cash handling experience preferred.
Medium physical demand level. The employee is regularly required to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk and hear; walk and/or stand for up to 8 hours per day. Must regularly lift, carry, and/or move up to 20 pounds and up to 50 pounds occasionally;
ability to push/pull and carry up to 30 pounds; kneels, stoops, and bends frequently. Occasional need to push heavy, wheeled carts, pallet jacks, hand trucks and other material handling equipment with loads weighing up to 250 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision. Work is performed primarily indoors in a climate-controlled space; may occasionally perform work in outside weather conditions.
