This bilingual position requires proficiency in both English and Spanish. A bilingual differential pay of 5% of the employee’s base pay will be provided.

Summary of Duties- Provide person‑centered, strength‑based practice to assist families transitioning to independence.
- Engage families through assessment, goal setting, strengths identification, and collaboration with state agencies and community resources.
- Determine eligibility for programs as necessary.
- Negotiate coaching plans with adults in the home, supporting both adult and family needs.
- Evaluate employability readiness, provide referrals, promote services, and motivate adults toward employment.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of employment services, contractors, and community resources.
- Assist with crisis and safety planning for individuals experiencing domestic violence.
- Complete program eligibility, issue grant payments, and provide resource support within the community.
- A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Three years of human services related experience, OR an Associate’s degree in a behavioral or social science field and two years of related experience, OR a Bachelor's degree in any field and one year of related experience, OR a Bachelor's degree in a behavioral or social science field.
- Recognize symptoms and behaviors from traumatic responses and work to minimize re‑traumatization.
- Lead and engage with thoughtfulness, sensitivity, and cultural relevance.
- Build inclusive relationships with colleagues that foster trust, collaboration, and respect.
- Manage time, organization, and prioritization to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Explain technical information verbally and in writing to diverse audiences.
This position involves high volume of individual and family contact, collaboration with community agencies, computer data entry, and tracking. Work is conducted in offices, participants’ homes, and community sites. Employees may encounter individuals with anger, frustration, or substance use issues and may need to address emotionally charged situations. A valid driver's license is required; overnight travel may be needed for statewide meetings.
