Occupational Therapist OT – Outpatient Ortho / Neuro

Med Star Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at MHPT @ Rosedale Neuro. The role requires professional competency as a general occupational therapist, independent use of varied evaluation and treatment approaches, and strong teamwork skills.

• Provides evaluation services including review of pertinent historical information, performance of specific assessments, and determination of recommendations.
• Explains evaluation findings and treatment plan to patient and family and incorporates patient and family in the goal setting.
• Demonstrates proficiency in implementation of treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and evolving health care environment.
• Consults with other healthcare professionals as indicated and documents changes requiring plan modification.
• Completely proper discharge planning and follow‑up care; accurately documents and charges patient care activities.
• Manages time effectively, meeting productivity expectations and consistently providing frictionless access to care through flexibility and empathy.
• Takes initiative in pursuing continuing education and professional growth, serves as a clinical instructor, and mentors staff, students, volunteers, and technicians.

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
• Maine, District of Columbia, or Virginia licensure, as required for the specific location(s).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (CPR certification).

Salary Range – USD $74,214.00 – USD $ per year.
