Keep all equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing day-to-day maintenance under the ճանաչ of Engineering Management, continually improving engineering service to guests and associates.

• Report to work on time and in full uniform.
• Train and instruct other staff, sharing knowledge and skills.
• Act as an independent mechanic, analyzing problems, identifying solutions, and implementing them with available resources to a high level of quality.
• Maintain accurate completion and task records in project files, setting an example of continuous self‑development.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs; plunged toilets, unclog drains, and repair hardware.
• Clean, lubricate, protect, and maintain all tools and equipment; ensure tools are returned to the shop and stored properly.
• Maintain assigned tool pouch and its contents as directed by Engineering Management.
• Monitor systems, handle emergencies, and ensure systems operate correctly; respond to emergencies to protect guests, associates, and building systems.
• Maintain knowledge of fire sprinkler and emergency power systems, and monitor energy and utility usage.
• Identify and report ideas to conserve energy.
• Be available for emergencies, acting to restore normal operations as quickly andenzo responsibly as possible.
• Adhere to job safety analysis, work accident‑free, and create a safe work environment.
• Correct hazardous conditions promptly.
• Read, log, track, and interpret readings from meters, gauges, and other measuring devices.
• Maintain a thorough log of daily activities GMP; pass information to subsequent shifts.
• Keep engineering areas clean and well organized.
• Assist in other duties as needed to maintain effective hotel operations.
• Complete all work safely, professionally, and ensure all needed materials, tools, and supplies are available or on order.
• Track and follow up on items that may be on back order; keep supervisor updated.
• Provide training and technical advice to other engineers as requested.
• Maintain knowledge of all federal, state, and local codes, laws, and regulations.
• Maintain a professional image at all times.
• Follow safety and security procedures to provide a safe work environment.
• Refer to and follow Standard Operating Procedures.
• Follow all rules as found in the M&R Employee Handbook; perform other duties as assigned by capable management.
