The program is the region’s leading referral center and a widely sought‑after training and education center for state‑of‑the‑art clinical trials.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a nurse practitioner (or physician assistant) to join our Heart Rhythm team at Med Star Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. In this role the NP/PA will focus on performing consultations in the hospital and seeing patients for pre‑procedure management, working with experienced attending physicians for mentorship and career development.
Work ResponsibilitiesFive 8‑hour shifts a week Monday through Friday. No nighttime, weekend, or on‑call duties. There may be additional growth opportunities as outpatient clinic operations expand.
Preferred CredentialsNurse Practitioners preferred to have ACNP certification. FNPs considered with cardiology background.
Minimum Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Licensed in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia (or required combination); may require specialty license based on location.
- CPR certification (includes BLS and NRP) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 90 days.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills with clinical EMR experience preferred.
