Mainframe Apprentice Engineer – Roseland, NJ (Hybrid)

ADP is hiring a Mainframe Apprentice Engineer in our Roseland, NJ office. This is a hybrid role.

In this role, you will join a growing team as a Mainframe Apprentice Engineer. We are seeking applicants that are motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate a positive attitude. You will work with our Infrastructure Engineering team and be responsible for installing new software, troubleshooting issues, and working with our business partners to maintain, upgrade, and tune our existing systems.

• Install new software on IBM Z mainframe systems.
• Troubleshoot software and system issues.
• Maintain, upgrade, and tune existing systems in collaboration with business partners.
• Participate in continuous learning and knowledge sharing with the team.
• Provide support and problem‑solving throughout the day.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum completion of the IBM Z Mainframe System Administrator Course.
• At least one year of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Good work ethic and enthusiasm to learn.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions. The compensation for this role is USD $17.69 - USD $47.29 / Hour*.
