Work Force Software, an ADP company, is hiring a Technical Consultant

The Technical Consultant will deliver the Work Force Software Suite (Time, Scheduling, Integrations, and more) to solve unique business challenges for each client. Working with project teams, the role ensures that our products are configured to meet client needs and are delivered successfully. Responsibilities include coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting while continually developing consulting, leadership, and client relationship skills through training and certifications.

What you’ll do:

Responsibilities
  • Configure the Work Force Software Suite (Time, Scheduling, etc.) according to client business requirements.
  • Understand the product configuration requirements, including naming conventions, database impact, template customization, and proper sequencing of product settings.
  • Grasp the project scope and implementation approach for assigned projects.
  • Guide complex issues, including administrative and configuration challenges.
  • Communicate roadblocks and seek guidance in a timely manner.
  • Create complex formulas that leverage mathematical and/or programming skills.
  • Perform unit and system testing of the configured application and ensure test cases pass as described by their requirements.
To succeed in this role:
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in software implementations.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with a programming language, preferably JavaScript, HTML, and SQL.
  • Experience implementing or training on a packaged software system or highly complex internally developed application.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills with a strong emphasis on Excel.
  • Understanding of waterfall and agile methodologies, frameworks, and practices in a services delivery role.
  • Demonstrates technical aptitude to learn quickly and adapts to new circumstances.
  • Ability to work on a dynamic, client‑focused team and establish excellent working relationships.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% with the potential for international travel.
  • Associates located near an ADP or Work Force office are expected to follow the ADP hybrid work model.

A college degree is great but not required. Acceptable experiences include:

  • Military Experience – Veterans’ discipline, commitment, and problem‑solving abilities are valued.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Work Force Software (WFS) and its proprietary language.
  • Consulting skills.
  • Familiarity with or background in HR, Payroll, or Workforce Management.
  • Experience providing application support for complex software systems.

Base salary range: USD $47,400.00 – USD $96,300.00 per year. Compensation may also include bonus, equity, or commissions, and is never less than applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirements under federal, state, and local laws.
