Lead Global Security Engineer
ADP is seeking an experienced engineer to lead global security efforts across the ADP network platform, safeguarding sensitive client and company data throughout its lifecycle. The Lead Global Security Engineer will influence network and cloud engineering teams, design, deploy, and maintain security controls such as SASE, Secure Web Gateway, Next‑Gen Firewall, CASB, and DLP, and drive continuous improvement of governance and automation.
Responsibilities- Planning
:
Post‑assess the current state of ADP’s SASE network platform, plan risk‑reduction improvements, manage time and priorities, and analyze and resolve complex issues. - Collaborate
:
Work with multi‑disciplinary teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security policies, manage team performance, and provide input on network security architecture. - Design & Process Improvement
:
Design and engineer risk‑management strategies, gather requirements, develop prevention and detection capabilities, deliver detailed solution designs, and improve program outcomes. - Operate
:
Support governance routines, audit compliance, improve prevention and detection, evaluate control effectiveness, enable orchestration and automation, and implement new security technologies. - Security Incident Response
:
Enable orchestration and automation for rapid incident response. - Security & Compliance
:
Discover and prioritize remediation of data controls, meet audit and compliance requirements, evaluate endpoint and data security control effectiveness, and drive consistent maturity across the organization.
- Earned a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Possess 6+ years of relevant technical security experience.
- Positive Leadership
:
Demonstrated upbeat, persistent style; strong time‑management; ability to prioritize deliverables; good presentation skills; mentoring capability; integrity; independent work ethic. - Proven Experienced Winner
:
Minimum of eight years in cybersecurity roles, planning, implementing, and running security capabilities; strong analytical skills; cross‑functional knowledge across cybersecurity disciplines; experience with DLP and UDP technologies. - Skilled Technical Expert
:
Deep background in hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, O365, GCP); expertise with network security technologies (Palo Alto, Zscaler, Netskope, Cisco); experience with SASE platform components (Secure Web Gateway, Next‑Gen Firewall, CASB, DLP); certification support (CISSP, GSEC, CISA, CISM, CRISC); scripting skills (Power Shell, Bash, Python). - Fabulous Soft Skills
:
Excellent verbal and written communication; documentation and reporting proficiency; sense of urgency; ability to engage executive leadership, business leaders, and technical teams.
