Principal Architect

Position Overview

ADP Technology Services, Inc. is hiring a Principal Architect located in Roseland, New Jersey.

• Design cloud architectures for high availability, automation, resilience, scalability, and security.
• Promote innovative technology and best practices for business units and enterprise‑wide initiatives.
• Govern current and strategic architectural blueprints, establish standards, test plans, and design templates.
• Provide technology analysis, recommendations, and business case development for client requests.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Seven (7) years of related experience.

Work Experience

• Four (4) years of infrastructure architecture experience across network, compute (physical/VMware), database, and storage.
• Open Stack advanced designs.
• Infrastructure as Code or software‑defined infrastructure solutions.
• Cloud designs focusing on resiliency, high availability, and security.
• Cloud migration strategies, cloud computing, virtualization, Linux system administration, Kubernetes foundation, and cloud automation.
• Cross‑functional teaming and coordination with other IT disciplines.
• Experience with VMware to Open Stack migrations and AWS cloud services.

Base salary range: USD $ – USD $ / Year* (compensation will not be less than applicable minimum wage or exempt salary requirements under federal, state, and local laws).
