IT Monitoring SME (Netcool & Watson AIOps)

This consulting position is for an IT Monitoring SME (Netcool & Watson AIOps) with minimum 7 years of experience implementing, configuring and supporting monitoring solution. Strong technical skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintenance and configuration of the Enterprise level IT monitoring system, IBM's ITM Netcool Suite of products including NOI, ITNM, TIP, DASH, ITNM.
• Design and implementation of IBM Enterprise Monitoring solutions.
• Setting up administrator and service accounts, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space.
• Troubleshooting and resolving moderate to complex system/application issues.
• Interacting with users and evaluating vendor products.
• Experience with Watson AIOPS, Tivoli Netcool (Event Management), Linux/Red Hat system admin, scripting (shell scripting, PERL, Python, Rules files, regular expressions, JavaScript and/or Impact policy language).
• Third party event management tools integration (events and topology) with Watson AIOps.
• Good knowledge in Java / IPL Scripts and should be able to create / modify the scripts in Impact.
